Enor Martinez is uniquely qualified both skiing and linguistics. He has been teaching skiing for more than twenty years in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. His students speak Spanish, Portuguese, and French, as well as English-speaking individuals.

In 1989, Mr. Martinez was an official French and German interpreter for the Swiss Ski Team during the 31st Military World Skiing Championship in Vermont.

Mr. Martinez has been working as an interpreter/translator for nearly twenty years. Born twenty-five miles from Taos, New Mexico in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, Spanish is the author's native tongue.

But it was traveling all over the world in the United States Air Force that inspired the author to study foreign languages. He formally studied linguistics at the University of Utah. Now retired from the linguistics unit in the Utah National Guard, he devotes his time to teaching skiing and writing about ski teaching, using the Spanish Language.
